RockTape Taping Online Interactive Course - November 28

$190.00
or make 4 interest free payments of $47.50 fortnightly with Afterpay Logos

This online interactive course will be conducted using Zoom.  We will limit the number of attendees, so there is plenty of opportunities to ask any questions during the course.  Please register by Friday November 20, to ensure we have time to courier your course materials to you.

If you have someone who is able to be your taping "patient", it does make it easier to practice all of the applications.  However we have had many people complete the course and practice applications on themselves.

RockTape courses are Australia’s most popular kinesiology tape courses.  Since 2010 we have conducted over 500 full and half day courses, attended by more than 10,000 people.  Why the interest?

Unlike other methods, RockTape’s taping protocol is based on an ‘open-source’ philosophy - we don’t believe there’s only one right way to tape.  This approach to taping integrates concepts from all other methods and provides a framework for the practitioner to determine the best approach for them and their clients using their own clinical reasoning.  By teaching a framework of kinesiology taping - concepts not recipes, it’s much easier for attendees to apply clinically to their customer group – i.e. lower limb, upper limb, paediatric, geriatric, neuro, musculoskeletal, equine, canine, etc.

The full day introduction (level1) courses remain our principal method of introducing the concept of kinesiology taping to the majority of practitioners.  This course provides the basics of kinesiology taping: regional taping for pain, taping for swelling and recovery, taping for posture and useful taping applications for pregnancy.  In addition, this course includes an introduction to the concepts of “Fascial Chain Taping”: utilising the benefits of kinesiology taping to tape the muscles associated with a particular activity.  For example, linking the muscles of the appropriate kinetic chain, i.e. lower back, hamstring and calf muscles that make up the posterior chain.

Course Outline:

  1. Theory of kinesiology taping
  2. Regional taping - muscle and joint applications
  3. Oedema / inflammation taping
  4. Scar taping
  5. Posture taping
  6. Pregnancy taping applications
  7. Movement taping
  8. Introduction to fascial chain taping

Testimonials for RockTape online interactive courses

  1. The aspect of the course I enjoyed greatly was the hands on experience and demonstrations of each strapping technique, as well as referring to other possible techniques that can be used to assist a variety of issues applicable with strapping.  The ability to ask questions during the course and after the course made the experience feel more interactive, making it a nice learning environment.  Mitchell – Exercise Physiologist
  2. Convenience of online learning. Course instructor was very clear and knowledgeable. By far Rocktaping is the best short course to learn and most likely be implementing right away and frequently to my clients. Shame I didn’t know about it sooner. Definitely will tell my colleagues and peers.  Cecilio - Remedial Massage Therapist
  3. I liked the philosophy and approach about taping. We weren’t told to do this particular taping technique but more about understanding the why behind it.  Guillaume - Personal Trainer
  4. I enjoyed having the option to try out different taping methods, I like how we were challenged to get creative and become independent with our taping methods.  It was also easy for me to attend, as I live away from capital cities so it make it hard to attend any course, so being online is super convenient for me.  Kimberlee – Exercise Physiologist
