Sometimes it is challenging to be available when a course is conducted.  So we have recorded one of our RockTape online interactive courses that was recently conducted via zoom.  Once you purchase the online course, you will be sent a link, and you will have 12 months to watch the content as many times as you like.

The content for this course is the same as our face to face courses.  The recorded video you receive is 2 hours and 55 minutes in length.  However, the number of hours taken to complete the content depends on how much time you spend practicing the applications in the videos practical segments.   We estimate the total time to complete the course could take up to 4 hours, which is the scheduled length of the face to face courses, and that is the amount of time we put on the electronic certificates we send to customers on completion of the course.

RockTape courses are Australia’s most popular kinesiology tape courses.  Since 2010 we have conducted over 500 full and half day courses, attended by more than 10,000 people.  Why the interest?

Unlike other methods, RockTape’s taping protocol is based on an ‘open-source’ philosophy - we don’t believe there’s only one right way to tape.  This approach to taping integrates concepts from all other methods and provides a framework for the practitioner to determine the best approach for them and their clients using their own clinical reasoning.  By teaching a framework of kinesiology taping - concepts not recipes, it’s much easier for attendees to apply clinically to their customer group – i.e. lower limb, upper limb, paediatric, geriatric, neuro, musculoskeletal, equine, canine, etc.

Complete the RockTape lower limb focused course to learn more valuable techniques using kinesiology tape to assist with managing your patient’s pain and dysfunction.

Course Outline:

  1. Theory of kinesiology taping
  2. Regional taping - muscle and joint applications
  3. Oedema/inflammation taping
  4. Posture taping

Australian based participants receive:

  1. an electronic copy of the presentation slides
  2. enough RockTape to use during the course and also to have some leftover to practice your new skills later
  3. an electronic copy of the certificate on completion can be provided on completion.

The course materials will be despatched to Australian customers via courier when you place your order.  Please provide a physical delivery address, not a PO Box.

Non Australian based (International) participants receive:

  1. an electronic copy of the presentation slides
  2. an electronic copy of the certificate on completion can be provided on completion.
  3. please source a couple of rolls of kinesiology tape to use in the course.  The kinesiology tape doesn’t have to be RockTape.  The cost of your course will be 10% less as the GST isn't applicable to you.

    Lower Limb Taping Course

Posted by Michael on 14th Mar 2023

Optimised use of online medium to best explain multiple taping techniques. Challenging presentation approach well executed, given hands-on approach is best preferred teaching technique. Lots of very good techniques shown with good clinical reasoning which allows for adjustments based on individual's pathology. Course worth viewing and rewatching to reinforce techniques.

    Lower Limbs Course

Posted by Stephen Tasker on 3rd Feb 2022

I found the Lower Limbs course to be very informative and more importantly practical in nature. The way it was delivered having an explanation followed by practical demonstration, then allowing time to practice was great. Thank You Team!
